Humanitarian Genome

The Humanitarian Genome is a project that enables cross platform information sharing regarding any crisis. So far, there hasn't been any platform that enables aid providers to share experiences and learn best practices based on past events. The Humanitarian Genome addresses this pain point to maximize the usage of resources and budget in the case of crisis.
/ design process
Our main objective of this animation was to convey that we are dealing with serious issues while not being too dark when saying it. We thought rough shapes instead of curvy could tell the story of how seriuos it is while using a broad palette to add some livelihood. Instead of using traditional skeleton rigs for the character which you would usually see in cartoons, we went for shape transformation to give a sense of something different, not so childish and a bit more grown up.
